At the 2020 NAMM SHOW, Ultimate Ears Pro announced the Hi-Res Audio-certification of its UE LIVE, UE 18+ PRO and UE Reference Remastered in-ear monitors.
Ultimate Ears Pro is well-positioned to provide audio solutions that meet the demands of Hi-Res Audio media formats. The Hi-Res Audio logo certifies that a product meets the Hi-Res Audio standards. Per these standards, in-ear monitors must have transducer frequency performance up to 40 kHz.
The Ultimate Ears LIVE incorporates one of the most complex and powerful acoustic systems Ultimate Ears Pro has ever developed, including seven balanced armatures, one dynamic driver, and the True Tone Plus, an upgraded version of Ultimate Ears’ proprietary True Tone drivers.
The Ultimate Ears 18+ Pro takes the excellence of the award-winning 18 Pro and adds the new precision True Tone Plus drivers. These drivers aim to emphasize upper-register harmonics with improved presence and a clear, warm sound. This 18+ Pro is built with six proprietary balanced armatures divided into four frequency bands, plus two True Tone drivers dedicated to the high frequency band.
The UE Pro Reference Remastered in-ear monitor lets the user experience the nuances and details of hi-res recordings, whether you’re in the studio, at home or on the road. Through UE Pro’s proprietary True Tone drivers, which extend the frequency range, you can now hear the harmonic structures and overtones that are usually missing from most headphones. As a result, the notes from hi-res audio recordings can be heard just the way it was captured in the studio.
